Glambertitis
I have yet to recover from glambertitis. I think this disease is beyond all medical explanation. Before the American Idol finale and results, Adam Lambert already graced the cover of entertainment weekly on May 15 issue as the hot favorite to win the title. Well, we knew what happened.
I asked a few friends to help look for this magazine this week. Friends had gone to the Curve, One Utama, GE Mall but to no avail. I was devastated. Then I suddenly thought of the corner magazine shop in Amcorp Mall and prayed silently that there would be at least one magazine. I e-mailed a friend for help. He finally got it! Thanks Agent S&T!
And check out this video! It’s scandalous!
Dinosaur Era
The same moron from corporate communication department came to ask me if I have last week’s newspapers. Funny, isn’t it? Someone from the corporate communication department asking me if I keep any newspapers cutting.
I wanted to ask her, “Which newspaper do you want? You can easily google it up – whatever articles and print out from there! You don’t even need to read physical newspapers now! Everything is online!”
Of course, I held whatever I wanted to say. There is no point educating people from the dinosaur era. Let them continue to build fire by knocking two stones.
Economic Traveling
I think I am beginning to wonder if I am in the wrong line. Almost on daily basis, someone would definitely buzz me for travel advice. Seriously, I am quite happy to help because I don’t want my friends to miss out on the things that I enjoyed.
But it does get annoying sometimes when one decided to ask things beyond me. Recently, I told a friend who asked about Chiang Mai that I engaged a local agent because I want a fuss free trip and enjoy everything local. I find this agent quoted reasonable prices too. She insisted on taking the tuk tuk everywhere because it’s cheaper.
I told her, yes, tuk tuk is fine to travel within the city but I doubt tuk tuk can take you as far as Chiang Rai! You still need to either hire a travel agent or take a bus to Chiang Rai and miss all the stops in between. Some more she is not doing the backpacking style of travel – take a few weeks off to slowly explore via motorbikes or driving a car. She is only going there for measly 5 days! I feel if someone is too cheapskate to travel, he or she might as well stay at home and watch Globe Trekker.
ING and EON
For those who are paying monthly instalments for their ING insurances, well, there’s a good news. ING and EON collaborated to come up with an interest free credit card. So, talk to your ING agent today to get this goodie. It would save you a hefty 5% interest per annum!

I agree 100%. These days who still buy newspapers? I think my mom still reads the papers!! Google is your best friend no matter what you want to find out, at your finger tips.
) I hope that person asking for papers is much older than you. So, I won’t be surprised s/he still use it!
